'Heat Relief' is inspired by impressionist paintings in mid summer, this scene is of a river that runs through the quaint village my husband grew up in. A moment to cool off with the dog in a secluded area of natural beauty.
Whilst painting this I wanted to capture the feeling of haze and dream like countryside walks. How idyllic it feels in summertime to walk through green fields and simply jump into the river to cool off.
A pastime from childhood that feels more magical as an adult.
This piece is unstretched (not on a wooden canvas frame) and can be displayed by your choosing.
Perfect for a conservatory or room that would benefit from nature being brought indoors, serving as a reminder to get outside in the fresh air!
