'The Patient Pigeon' is one of eleven seminal drawings in my first series of inks. 

This piece was inspired by my grandfather I would call Grandad Pigeon. He created a distinct and accurate pigeon impression that cooed me to sleep as a child! 

The pigeon is a sentimental symbol to me and often appears in paintings and drawings as an auspicious icon for luck and guidance.
