'The Painting Dancers' is one of eleven seminal drawings in my first series of inks.
This piece was inspired by the music I listen to whilst drawing and painting in the studio, Motown Northern Soul. A genre I grew up with and puts my mind into a state of childlike wonder and creativity.
I loved the tempo and beat, and when working large scale often find myself dancing whilst underpainting!
This piece was a firm favourite and I think the movement really spoke to buyers.
Look into the remaining pieces from this series, they are one-off originals, signed and numbered, not to be made into reproduction prints. Their beautiful high contrast elegant lines work well in minimalist homes looking for affordable original artwork crafted by a human hand.
